Last week, we took the train to London with a fantastic group of Dutch professionals active on the themes of sport and sustainability.

The Sport Positive Summit is Europe's biggest conference on sport and sustainability, with a special focus on the crucial role sport can play in the fight against climate change. With a promising line-up of speakers from Liverpool, NBA, UNFCCC, JustEatTakeaway.com and many more inspiring organisations, our group of participants learned about the need, but especially the opportunities that arise for organisations inside and outside sport. These few days did not stop at just inspiration. Through various panel discussions and break-out sessions, we actively discussed the topic and what next steps we can take to tackle it. From questions such as how do we involve C-level in this topic and how to get fans moving, to how sustainability does not generate extra costs, but rather new earning potential.
