More2Win helped 3X3 Unites sharpen its social impact, make it more measurable and translate it into a stronger, distinctive proposition for partners. The question was not only how to increase impact, but also how to make that impact more consistent in the way the organisation makes decisions, communicates and works with partners.
The starting point was clear. 3X3 Unites was already creating tangible social value but wanted to bring more focus and coherence to its approach. The organisation was looking for a strategic foundation that could provide direction to its programmes, underpin its impact and at the same time strengthen its commercial appeal. In a context of growing social inequality, the question became increasingly urgent: how do you turn an inspiring mission into a strong, scalable and compelling story?

More2Win brought that ambition back to the core of the sport and the organisation. Based on research and sessions with employees and stakeholders, we developed a shared impact ambition with long-term goals that genuinely reflect the DNA of 3x3 basketball: urban, accessible and built around personal responsibility. This formed the basis for the central message: “From the streets to the top – Together we move, unite and empower youth to create perspective on and off the court.”
From this ambition, we developed an impact strategy that brings all activities together. We explored where young people face challenges, which barriers they experience and where targeted interventions are needed to make a real difference. We translated these insights into three movements that form the organisation’s strategic backbone: Move, Unite and Empower. These were then embedded in a coherent Theory of Change, ensuring that the programmes do not stand alone, but demonstrably contribute to the same social objectives.

The strength of this process lies not only in its content, but also in the ownership it creates. By developing the strategy together with the organisation and its network, we created broad support and ownership. This is essential, because an impact strategy only works when it not only makes sense on paper, but is also embedded throughout the organisation.
And we didn’t stop there. Based on the impact strategy, we also developed a sharpened partner proposition. Social relevance is not presented as an additional benefit, but as a core part of the value 3X3 Unites offers. The partnership model was reassessed and translated into a sponsorship pyramid in which commercial rights, programmes and impact objectives are logically connected.
As a result, the organisation is not only positioned more strongly from a social perspective but is also more attractive to partners looking for meaningful collaborations.
Finally, we developed a measurement strategy that enables 3X3 Unites to systematically monitor and demonstrate its impact.
Today, 3X3 Unites has a clear social impact strategy, a stronger commercial proposition and a measurable foundation for growth. This provides a sustainable basis for further development, aligned with the ambition to help young people connect, grow and create perspective.
