Ahead of the UEFA Womens Champions League Final 2023 in Eindhoven, More2Win joined forces with Favela Street founder Rocky Hehakaija.

Ahead of the UEFA Womens Champions League Final 2023 in Eindhoven, More2Win joined forces with Favela Street founder Rocky Hehakaija.

UEFA, KNVB, BrabantSport and host city Eindhoven commissioned the development of an impactful legacy programme. In collaboration with Favela Street the Future Leading Player programme was born. With the aim of getting vulnerable girls to work on their self-image and confidence and develop into positive role models within their own communities.

In 2024, in cooperation with youth work organisations and a professional football club, the Future Leading Player programme was carried out in the cities Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and Den Bosch. Recently, the kick-off for 2025 took place at the Rat Verlegh Stadium, hosted by NAC Maatschappelijk. In 2025 the six-month programme will also be carried out in two additional cities: Arnhem and Breda. The kick-off was an inspiring event full of impactful stories from partners and youth workers involved in the programme. Other cities were encouraged to join whilst strong partnerships were highlighted.

Time to Shine street football tournament
The programmes in the neighbourhoods conclude with a nationwide street football tournament for girls: Time To Shine. In the past three years, this season finale has grown into a grand stage with a mix of talent teams from professional football organisations and district teams from the Future Leading Player programme. With new ambassador Lieke Martens, ambitions for the coming years are grand.

As More2Win we are proud to support Favela Street along with its partners in this ambition through:

  • Programmes & campaigns

    • Designing and executing the impact program

    • Storytelling & Video content

  • Reporting

    • Measurement strategy and execution
